Bob Goodall

Bob Goodall has practiced law in Stafford County helping clients prevent or solve legal problems since 1973. He has been a prosecutor, defense attorney, civil litigator and transactional attorney. His goal has been: work hard to provide excellent legal service, care about people, and treat them fairly. The population of the Fredericksburg area has increased 500% in those years, and families in this area still need local attorneys who meet those goals.

Bob and Kathy are very active members of Grace Church of Fredericksburg. They have a passion to see “everyday Christians” experience how great is the rescue God has accomplished through Jesus Christ and to be able to share that –both with words that make that truth real for each person and also with God’s power to heal people and address their problems in ways only God can do.

While Bob and his wife Kathy are moving toward retirement and looking forward to living and volunteering in National Parks, Bob will remain a partner will assist the firm’s attorneys to do the kinds of work which he has practiced.

Jason M. Pelt

Jason Pelt has been practicing law in the Stafford County area since 2005. Before coming to Stafford County, Jason was an active duty member of the of United States Marine Corps serving as a Staff Judge Advocate stationed at Marine Corps Base Quantico and Marine Barracks 8th & I, Washington, D.C. Currently Jason handles criminal matters and civil litigation matters involving landlord /tenants, consumer law, personal injury, and other civil litigation matters.

Jason is married to Tracee Pelt and they have four children. When not in the courtroom, Jason can be found camping with his family, spectating on the various sports fields in Stafford, or supporting local youth theater. Jason and Tracee worship at Calvary Chapel of Fredericksburg.

Jason believes that everyone needs a strong advocate when entering the courtroom. He is committed to his client’s success.

Brittany Stansberry Carper

Brittany Stansberry Carper is a graduate of Mary Washington College with a double major in Business Administration and Religion. Brittany is also a graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law, where her courses focused on trial advocacy.

Brittany is a trial attorney who enjoys advocating zealously for her clients in the courtroom. Her practice is generally focused on three main areas: family law, criminal defense and serving the Fredericksburg area as a guardian ad litem for minor children.

Family Law: Brittany has represented clients in cases dealing with divorce, child custody and visitation, child support, spousal support, adoption domestication of orders from another state or transferring orders from another jurisdiction within the state of Virginia and paternity.

Criminal Defense: Brittany has defended clients from issues ranging from second degree murder and malicious wounding to traffic violations.

Guardian ad Litem: Brittany considers it her honor to serve the courts in the fifteenth judicial circuit as a guardian ad litem for minor children in abuse and neglect and contested custody cases. She is very passionate about protecting her clients who are minor children and is dedicated to making every effort to improve their lives and futures.

She is a member of the Virginia State Bar and the Fredericksburg Area Bar Association. Brittany and her husband Jeremy live in the Spotsylvania area and have a South African mastiff named Ellie Mae; they are active members of Grace Church of Fredericksburg and enjoy many outdoor recreational activities. Brittany and Jeremy are also avid supporters of the West Virginia Mountaineers.

Brittany and her husband have two precious children that God has blessed them with.

Martha G. Norton

Martha graduated from George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School in December 2001, and has been licensed with the Virginia State Bar since 2002. For nearly two decades she has been practicing in the Fredericksburg Area. She has been both a prosecutor and defense attorney and that experience has helped her fine tune her trial skills. Her favorite place is in the courtroom. She takes great pride in not just being an excellent trial attorney, but also in providing her clients with the information & support they need to face their legal hurdles with confidence.

Martha’s areas of practice include:

  • Family law including custody, visitation, divorce and support
  • Criminal defense including serious felony offenses, such as violent crimes & drug distribution, as well as DUI, assault and battery, juvenile offense, and the like.
  • Civil Litigation, including homeowner and contractor litigation and contract disputes.

When she isn’t in the courtroom, Martha enjoys spending time with her husband and children doing anything outdoors.

Levi S. Norton

Levi Norton is a graduate of The George Washington University and Regent University School of Law. He is a member of the Virginia Bar and former prosecutor. Early in his career, Levi spent two decades working throughout the tropics and polar regions, but his true passion is helping families, businesses and property owners with their legal needs here in Virginia.

Levi is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hunting, fishing and cross country motorcycle racing with his wife and 2 children.

Levi’s areas of practice include:

  • Representing both plaintiffs and defendants in all forms of civil litigation.
  • Estate Planning and Elder Law, including drafting wills and trusts as well as helping families establish guardianships and conservatorships, and providing assistance with estate administration.
  • Landloard & Tenant law, including drafting leases and representing property owners and tenants.
  • Business law, including entity formation, contract drafting and review, litigation and collections.
  • Real Estate law including property disputes, HOA issues, easements, partition, boundary line adjustments, deeds, and construction & home improvement disputes.
